Milan-based fashion label Off-White was founded in 2014 by American creative designer Virgil Abloh, and has since garnered a cult following amongst fashion contemporaries and followers.
Having served as art director for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s 2011 Watch the Throne album, Abloh has forged a tight-knit relationship with the latter, one that is arguably at the very roots of his own brand.
Drawing influence from sportswear aesthetics and the hip-hop subculture, Off-White is a label primed for the now. Punctuated by adventurous colour-blocking, loose-fitting shapes and bold graphic printing. Abloh’s collections are emblematic of a modern, progressive vision, one that embraces both the buoyancy of youth and the sophistication of high-end couture.
